Mystery puppies

And many happy returns of the day!

Two years ago they were Agatha, Emme, Trudy, Harper, Daphne, Dashiell, Poe, Kipling, and Ellery, and they had just been born. We tucked them in to a box beside the stove and spent all night staring at them in wonder.

Now they are show dogs, farm dogs, world travelers, beloved pets–and still pretty dang wonderful. Happy birthday Agatha, Emma, Juno, Harper, Daphne, Magnum, Hunter, Kipling, and Buzzy! We love you all.

Thank you so much for our wonderful Emma .She’s all of the above & so much more! We love & spoil her to pieces. For her birthday, we had dogshow fun in the morning, a snoozy afternoon on the couch with bones & a big helping of beef tongue for dinner. 🙂

Agatha is definitely pretty dang wonderful. She would comment herself but she’s busy being snuggled by two little girls that love her to pieces.

Magnum had a good play in the snow for his birthday, then snuggled up on the couch to watch the Patriots beat the Ravens. He’s hoping both he and the Pats will score big on Superbowl Sunday — the Pats in Indianapolis, and he in West Springfield.

Sadly Kipling didn’t have any fun on his birthday. I was pretty sick and stayed in bed for the whole day yesterday. Kipling was my faithful guardian – except for the morning toilet break, he barely left my bed. He did sneak out once to the living room to throw himself around on the couch and growl a whole bunch. He usually does that in my bed to get my attention but yesterday he decided to do that away from me. When he came back, he licked my nose and fingers carefully…probably to make sure I didnt die while he was away. 🙂 He is such a loving little man.

Daphne has been our blessing everyday! She lives with us in Colorado now. She is so healthy and happy. Getting just a touch of white around the eyes. She has a wonderful vet, gets tons of love and sunshine, and plays and plays and plays. She becomes Nurse Daphne if we don’t feel well. She loves her tummy rubs, scratches under the collar, and hugs. I always say she’s hug size! Where can I post a photo of her? Would love to see some sibling and Clue photos too. Lots of love and happiness to you – Angela
